Your outline supports the academic content very well and shows a true progression of how students need to learn in order to understand scatter plots, independent and dependent variables, correlations, and line of best fit. However, I had difficulty understanding your lesson plans because they did not include enough content learning. Students would love analyzing if and why their favorite music group is the most popular, but make sure they learn how and why. To verify that students understand scatter plots, I would ask them to write two or three justifications about how they know their music artist is popular based on the scatter plots they created in their groups. <br \/>\n<br \/>\nBe careful with using technology as a fun activity because technology is supposed to build content learning. Are your students learning to use movie maker or understand scatter plots?
